OPERATION – REACH OUT

Our Deacons Ministry exists to take care for the membership of Christian Fellowship Center. We serve you by helping you to remain connected with the church during times of difficulty or illness. Our goal is to be aware of any extra ordinary needs you may have and help to meet that need, this includes visiting you when you are sick or confined.

The Deacons here will:

1.Keep in touch with you, a member of CFC to address any special needs when appropriate, and also to answer any specific questions as they relate to CFC.

2. Keep an open line of communication between the church and you regarding church related activities and upcoming events.

3. Pray and encourage you

4. Keep the Pastoral Staff informed of any special concerns/needs that you may have. If you have need to inform of us of a special need you may have or if you are sick and we are unaware.

FELLOWSHIPS

“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching ” Hebrews 10:25(KJV). God created human beings with fellowship in mind, first with Himself, then with others. The scriptures encourage us not only to develop a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ but also to interact and commune with fellow believers in the body of Christ.

Therefore, fellowship is interlaced in every component of our ministry. Here at CFC we emphasize fellowship that promote unity among the body, provides encouragement to one another, and exercise unconditional love for each other.

MIGHTY MEN OF VALOR

Mission: To lead men into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ to fulfill their leadership role in the family, community and abroad.

Our purpose is to:

• Assist men in becoming committed to God’s purpose.

• Promote interaction and communication between men.

• Develop spiritual and moral character in men.

WOMAN OF WORTH

Mission: To assist women in developing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to fully live out their Godly purpose.

Our purpose is to:

• Foster relationship between women

• Assist women in their spiritual and moral development.

S.E.E.D.

Mission: To lead individuals into a dynamic relationship with Jesus Christ and to provide opportunities for singles to come to their full potential in God.

Our purpose is to:

• Provide opportunities for spiritual growth and development.

• Foster interaction and communication between single adults.

• Develop programs and activities that will assist singles to fulfill their purpose.

MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT

Mission: To assist married couples understand their biblical role as husband and wife and to enhance their relationship with each other and their families.

Our purpose is to:

• Foster interaction and communication within and between married couples.

• Develop and encourage strong healthy marriages. •

• Provide spiritual and moral support for married couples and families.

• Provide programs and activities that will encourage harmonious relationships among married couples.

CHRONOLOGICALLY GIFTED SENIOR ADULT FELLOWSHIP

“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.”                        Psalms 1:3(KJV)

 Mission: To assist senior adults to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and to encourage seniors to support and instruct the younger generation in the body of Christ.

Our purpose is to:

• Foster relationships between senior adult.

• Provide opportunities for senior adults to grow spiritually.

• Conduct activities for senior adults to stay connected to the church and community.

• Provide volunteer opportunities, Please see the ministry calendar for meeting times and schedules.

WORSHIP ARTS

At Christian Fellowship Center and Outreach Ministries, a “Tabernacle of Praise”; we believe in the Biblical Pattern of Worship which includes: Singing (1 Chronicles 15:1627), Musicians with instruments (1 Chronicles 23:5; 25:17), Dancing (1 Chronicles 15:29; Psalm 149:3) as well as clapping our hands, shouting, rejoicing, and offering praise and worship unto the Lord with a spirit of thankfulness. The Worship Arts area functions to create a vibrant expressive worship experience because we believe in, realize and enjoy the manifested presence of the Lord experienced in our corporate gatherings.

The Worship Arts area consists of the following teams:

The Worship Arts serve as a catalyst to lead the congregation by example into the presence of the Lord.

DISCIPLESHIP

“Then Jesus came to them and said, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.    And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:1 (NIV)

Our discipleship ministry exists to assist believers in becoming formed, and transformed by hearing and doing God’s Word (knowledge), growing in Christlikeness that will result in a changed life; a life that observes and follows Christ’s commandments. Our Christian Education department includes Church School, Foundations, Children’s Church and Family Bible Study.

FAMILY BIBLE STUDY

Family Bible Study is our midweek service where we explore biblical truths and develop practical application of the scriptures to daily living. Family Bible Study is held every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.

FOUNDATIONS

Foundations is our 8 week instructional class for new believers. This class provides basic instruction in Biblical Truths to help new Christians understand and grow in their new life in Jesus Christ.

EVANGELISM

Evangelism goal is to glorify God by proclaiming the good news that Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world, rose victorious over death, transforms lives by the power of His Spirit and is coming again to establish His kingdom. Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.” Matthew 9:37,38 (KJV)

HEALING MINISTRY

“Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.” James 5:14,15
Are you physically, spiritually or emotionally sick? The bible tells us that Jesus Christ carried our sicknesses as well as our sins, and God is the healer of the whole person. ”But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” Isaiah 53:5

We welcome you to experience the healing power of the Lord! This special worship time of healing and wholeness is every third Saturday of each month at 11:00 a.m. here at Christian Fellowship Center.
