How to Become a Member

Steps To Becoming A Member Of Christian Fellowship Center And Outreach Ministries

1. Accept Jesus Christ As Your Personal Lord and Savior

⁹ That (I)if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰ For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9-10

2. Be Baptized (if you have not previously been baptized)

Baptism symbolizes our burial with Christ. It also serves as an outward [public] display of our internal faith in the fact that we have been made alive in Christ. Since Christ himself was baptized in water so should we also follow his example.

3. Complete New Believers Orientation

When you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you may start the process to become a member of CFC. Candidates for membership must attend New Members Orientation prior to receiving the Right Hand of Fellowship.
The class is held on Sunday and provides a broad overview of life at CFC including:

The Vision And Mission Of The Church
What It Means To Become A New Person In Christ
The Responsibility Of The Church [Body Of Christ]
Growth & Maturity In Christ

4. Receive the Right Hand of Fellowship

Right Hand of Fellowship is our custom that welcomes new members into our fellowship as a functioning member of CFC.
Candidates who have completed the New Members Orientation and have been baptized, at either CFC or another church, are eligible to receive the Right Hand of Fellowship.
All new members will receive a church membership certificate.
